What's your favorite sport?
College football and college basketball fight for the #1 spot. I was on the basketball team in middle school and growing up played hoops with my brother and neighbors, which happen to be all male, so bball will always be a love of mine!...I continue to show my skills on the court in horse and knock-out! When it comes to football, dad and I spent a lot time throwing the pigskin around. My spiral is still solid today! |
![]() What's your most memorable sports moment?
As bias as it is, the 2007 BCS National Championship game in Glendale, AZ! When the #2 Gators defeated the #1 Buckeyes 41-14. One of my favorite moments was when Florida linebacker Earl Everett lost his helmet, but still sacked Heisman Trophy winning QB Troy Smith. I was fortunate enough to witness it all!:-) Is that your natural hair color? Yes...and I've never dyed it! I get this question asked to me at least once a day. Both my brother and I have red hair; well auburn really, with freckles, pale skin, and all. A fair, redheaded pair! We're blessed! What is your favorite sport to report on? Honestly, I have my favorites, but when it comes to reporting sports I'm open to any! I use the following analogy all the time...I would report on rooster racing in Kansas if that's where I was needed! It's simple. I love sports, the individual and team competitiveness I enjoy. Talking sports is what I do! Did you play any sports growing up? Mom and dad made sure my brother and I did a bit of everything! In elementary school I was in dance and gymnastics. When entering middle school I continued to dance, was a starting shooting guard on the basketball team (Southern Division champs back to back!), joined the neighborhood swim team (Argyle Waves), and in high school I was on the dance team. Dad also taught my brother and I the games of golf, bowling, and tennis! What did you get your degree in? I had the honor of attending and graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication-News, Minor in Sport Management. Go Gators! I received my Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, Concentrations in Psychology and Educational Leadership from Liberty University in May 2017. Go Flames!
